Melissa & Katie envisioned a wedding that leaned into shadow, symbolism, and visual drama rather than softness or subtlety. Their shared love of dark romance shaped the day from the beginning, prioritizing mood, texture, and atmosphere over tradition.

At the Noble in St. Louis, MO, a historic bank reimagined as an event space, that vision found its footing. Vaults, metalwork, and architectural weight became part of the narrative, allowing portraits to become deliberate in framing and contrast. The imagery moves between stillness and intensity, from quiet moments before the ceremony to the bold, low light of their vows, and into a packed dance floor that, at times, felt closer to a mosh pit than a ballroom. Their day was unapologetically their own.
